On Monday, like many of us in Austin and across the country, the Little Longhorns of UT Elementary School celebrated the awesomeness that was the 2017 solar eclipse.
Students gathered in the front of the school and after a safety talk – do not look into the ellipse without proper eye protection! – all were able to (safely) take it all in. When the next solar eclipse hits in 2024, many of these Little Longhorns will be on their way to college or nearing high school graduation. But for now, Monday marked a memorable moment that they’ll never forget.
Take a moment and check out all the photos.
