UT Elementary Principal Lily Dominguez took to the airwaves to let the Central Texas community know that there were very rare vacancies in UT Elementary’s Pre-K program. It is not common for UT Elementary to have slots unfilled so we decided to recruit potential families using a variety of ways such as contacting nearby childcare centers and apartment complexes. But this was the first time UTES partnered with Univisión 62 and the result was great! Principal Dominguez is a natural star and we are incredibly lucky to have her. La directora de UT Elementary, Lily Domínguez, tomó las ondas de radio para informar a la comunidad del centro de Texas que había vacantes muy raras en el programa de prekínder de UT Elementary. No es común que UT Elementary tenga espacios vacíos, por lo que decidimos reclutar familias potenciales utilizando una variedad de formas, como contactar centros de cuidado infantil y complejos de apartamentos cercanos. ¡Pero esta fue la primera vez que UTES se asoció con Univisión 62 y el resultado fue excelente!
