On November 22, 2024, the UT Charter School system hosted an online training for parents. Our training was for both parents of students with diagnosed dyslexia but also for parents who want to learn more about dyslexia; its signs and what services are available to children with reading difficulties.
The online training was presented by Jill Bracamonte, Karena Hayes and Julie Josel who serve both UT Elementary and UT Charter School. The presentation covered everything from how to recognize signs of dyslexia in your child to the variety of services available for children diagnosed with dyslexia in all levels of school from Kindergarten to their senior year.
